Why It’s Important
No matter how many resources we put into preventing incidents, they will still occur because of the nature of humanitarian work. It is therefore of utmost importance that organizations are prepared to respond to incidents with competence and compassion.
Who It’s For
This one day course is for anyone who forms a part of a Critical Incident Management Team for a humanitarian organization. Specifically this refers to safety and security, human resources, and communications staff, as well as senior decision-makers who will be relied upon to give advice, make decisions, and lead teams in these stressful situations.
