We are pleased to invite you to a high-level discussion where key findings from the 2026 Global Peace Index will be presented and discussed.

Please join us for a presentation of key findings from the 2026 Global Peace Index. Produced by the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP), the GPI is the world’s leading measure of peacefulness, ranking 163 independent states and territories using 23 qualitative and quantitative indicators across three domains: Societal Safety and Security, Ongoing Domestic and International Conflict, and Militarization.

This year’s findings come against a difficult global backdrop. Global peacefulness continues to deteriorate, with conflicts growing more numerous and more interconnected, drawing in countries beyond their borders and becoming harder to resolve than at any point in recent decades. Many of the forces driving this are long-standing, but artificial intelligence is adding a new dimension, transforming how violence is planned and carried out faster than international law and diplomacy can adapt. As conflicts spread and intensify, so does their economic toll, with costs that reach well beyond the countries directly involved.

Who: All Cooperation Canada members and non-members are invited.
